Thank you, friends who have hung on with me while I’ve struggled through so many changes and challenges over the past couple of years. I’m pleased to tell you that I’m finally at a point where I can start sharing art and creative thoughts with you again!
You probably know that while I’ve been ill I turned my hand to writing fiction, and it’s been going great… so well, in fact, that I’ve learned MANY things that also apply to fiber and other visual arts. And what do I do when I learn things? I share them with you!
I’ll be taking some time to lay out my plans for this space [Patreon and the website – ed.] in detail, so expect more on the nitty-gritty soon; one thing I will share is that it won’t be just about fiber arts, although that is of course my number one love and focus. What I’ll be sharing encompasses an artistic, creative, nurturing mindset and will talk about authenticity, honesty, and fearlessness in our work as artists. I can’t wait to share these thoughts with you!
To be truthful, this was always something I’ve done as an artist. It’s just now I find it really important to center that in my work, drawing from my past experience and skills, to share – unfiltered – with you.
