It’s pretty obvious that I get the names for my yarns and batts from rock songs… but when it came to this yarn, the name for the colourway has a bit of extra meaning. Everyone who has seen this yarn has said the same thing – “I would never have put those colours together, but they really work!” Mustardy yellow and dusky rose? Yep, you betcha. The two colours are pulled together by blending undyed camel and yak down, as well as gold glitz with the Merino wool… then I coil-spun and granny-stacked the whole thing with a silk & steel thread. How’s that for rock and roll?
There’s approximately 70 yards – I measure generously.
This yarn is a two ply yarn, 8 WPI, weight of 2.2 ounces.
Yarn care: Please hand wash in cool water and dry flat.
Questions? Please do convo me!
I have this yarn currently in a skein – if you would like it wound into a ball, I would be happy to do so at no charge. Just let me know!
Colours will vary from monitor to monitor – I took several photos to show some variance in colour and lighting.
