First of all, let me say how thrilled I am to have been a part of Maker Faire NC 2011. It was a fantastic event, filled with amazingly interesting and fun exhibits, great vendors, and wonderful staff and volunteers. Special shout-out goes to the lovely lady who helped me load-in bright and early Saturday morning – my brain forgot your name, but not your awesome smile and attitude!

I spent the day with talented sidekicks Juliann and Anastasia, then was joined for the last leg by Maya – we spun, talked fiber, made various examples of fiber creations, and made lots of friends. It was a perfect day.
